Vitae was the court wizard of Good King Omund. He created the Dragon Phalanx to serve as protectors of the peace.
Biography
It is assumed, like all wizards, that Vitae was not this wizards true name, but was instead taken when he began his wizardly studies.
When Ajax the Invincible invaded Vasloria, Vitae and his dragonborn were a major obstacle. Vitae and Ajax's wizard, Mortum, dueled in the skies above Castle Omund, where Vitae was soundly defeated and driven mad. Vitae retreated to the depths of Castle Omund, where some say he still resides, scheming in his madness.
