The Chain's Spy Network is a network established in “Angel's Report” (Episode 14) by the Chain of Acheron to monitor the politics of Capital. After the senior officers of the Chain and junior officer Leech returned from the World Below, Angel shared with them what he had learned of the political situation, and was given five rankers and 3000 gold to begin a spy network.
Structure[]
It is unknown whether spy network members are members of the Chain, as anyone recruited by Angel they hasn't sworn the Chain's oath to a senior officer, and may use their real names. It is unclear whether the initial five rankers are still part of the network.
The network reports to Angel, who reports to Boots. Boots is currently the senior officer in charge of the network and rolls all spycraft checks on behalf of the whole network.

The network was established, with King and Boots instructing Angel to take the staff and money to start the network.
“The Library Job” (Episode 15)[]
Boots meets with Orlandria de Gietti, who explains that the Royal Heraldic Society works for the Fulcrum, and that they are prepared to offer Knighthoods in exchange for the job.

The organization is a level 2 Spy Network, as described in Kingdoms, Organizations and Warfare. The level is added to all spycraft rolls made to determine information gathered.
