The Shield of Aendrim is a magical shield and one of the signature items of the ancient kings of Aendrim. In living memory it was first wielded by Count Nekodemus, but is currently held by Lord Kenway of Dalrath.
It served as part of the inspiration for the name of the small adventuring company "the Shield of Gravesford" featuring the previously mentioned Count Nekodemus.
The shield has the potential to gain more and more magical effects as it recognizes the heroic deeds of the user. One effect that the shield has shown is the ability to minimize damage from a powerful attack and reflect it as healing magic for the allies of the wielder.
