Blackbottom is the city where episode one of The Chain, Red Sky at Morning, begins. The Chain of Acheron spent several days in the city, recovering from their previous contract.

While a port city, it is still a relatively minor urban area. It is an eclectic city, and many who have no trade with Vasloria will find opportunity to ply their wares in Blackbottom.

It previously contained church to Saint Clement the Journeyman which was one of the last free standing churches in Vasloria. It, and a great portion of the city, was destroyed by Ajax's Hawklords and demonic allies in response to the Chain's failed assassination of Mortum.
